Matt Wilkov is a partner in the law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg & Gifford P.C.. He has been a member of the firm since 1999. Before joining the firm, he was the Chief of Administrative Law, 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He earned his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his law degree from Temple University, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Political and Civil Rights Law Review. While attending law school, he served as a law clerk at the firm.

Mr. Wilkov is an active member of the Montgomery Bar Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Bar Association, where he was twice appointed by the Bar Association President to serve on the Executive Committee. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Section, former Chair of the Young Lawyers Section, former Chair of the Juvenile Rules Committee, and a former Chair of the Member Services Committee. Mr. Wilkov was selected by the Bar Association President to serve as the Chair of the Montgomery County Law Reporter. He also was specially selected to serve on the Judiciary Committee. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Team Chief of the Enterprise Group of the 151st Legal Operations Detachment headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

Mr. Wilkov regularly serves as an Instructor with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, providing instruction to lawyers throughout Pennsylvania. Regarded as an authority on the laws of military divorce, Mr. Wilkov often lectures at County Bar Associations and Inns of Court. In 2008 and 2012, he was invited to address Family Lawyers from across the Commonwealth at the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Summer Conference. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, he was selected as one of Pennsylvania’s Rising Stars, as published in Philadelphia Magazine. He was also named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer in 2007. In 2011, he was voted “One of the Best Lawyers” in The Reporter‘s Readers’ Choice Awards. His practice includes Personal Injury, Products Liability, Medical and Dental Malpractice, Criminal Defense, Military Law, Veterans Medical Malpractice, Business Litigation, and Employment Law.

In addition to the countless hours Matt spends between his law practice and his military law service, he also devotes time to serve others in a variety of ways, including speaking at PA Bar Institute seminars, offering assistance to the PA Bar Association, serving as a volunteer for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, and providing pro bono services.
